A work of art can never exist ALONE, in isolation or without cultural contexT
Works of art have the potential to alter and enhance our emotional experience and connection to our cultural context and physical environment.
In sculpture, the identity of the work is defined by the dialogues between maker and commissioner, the form, the choice of subject, material, space and time.
Sculpture comes to life when there is interaction between object and observer, and a connectivity between the work, the space around it, and the people who experience it.
At the studio we are constantly experimenting with materials, extending our research and exploring the potential of our work as sculptural form.
