A work of art can never exist in isolation or without cultural contexT

Works of art have the potential to alter and enhance our emotional experience and connection to our cultural context and physical environment.

The identity of the work is defined by the sculptural form, the dialogues between maker and commissioner, the choice of subject, material, space and time.

Sculpture comes to life when there is interaction between object and observer, and a connectivity between the work, the space around it, and the people who experience it.

At the studio we are constantly experimenting with materials and exploring the potential of metal as sculptural form.
