“BUILDINGS ARE USED AS A POPULAR STAGE. THEY ARE ALL DIVIDED INTO INNUMERABLE, SIMULTANEOUSLY ANIMATED THEATRES... BALCONY, COURTYARD, WINDOW, GATEWAY, STAIRCASE, ROOF ARE AT THE SAME TIME STAGES AND BOXES.”
― Walter Benjamin, One Way Street (1924)
Architecture is the cultural stage where the theatre of the everyday operates.
We explore the complex relationship which exists between people and space and the rôle architecture plays in creating a platform for interaction.
We are interested in creating environments where the potential for social exchange and discourse generates ideas, questions of the past, present and future to understand and cater for the rapidly changing world around us.
